KARACHI, July 2: A 20-member NIPA course participants from Islamabad and Peshawar visited the Karachi Stock Exchange on Wednesday to get a feel of the capital market and investment opportunities that it presented.

A press release issued by the KSE said that a presentation was made to the delegation by Shahid Ali Khan, KSE adviser on marketing, who was assisted by deputy chief manager IT-KSE and a personnel from Westminster & Eastern Financial Services.

Mr Khan apprised the delegation of the measures of transparency and investor protection that had been taken by the bourse.

The adviser on marketing talked about the possibilities and pitfalls in stock investing and cautioned investors “to do their homework on areas of their interest before jumping on to the bandwagon of stock investments.”
