PESHAWAR, Dec 15: The district Nazim, Swat, Dr Mahboob-ur- Rehman, has asked the Nazimeen of the union councils of the district to submit lists of their proposed development schemes to start work on them.

He said this while presiding over a meeting held to review progress on developmental activities, on Thursday.

The meeting was attended by the Naib Nazim, Rafiul Mulk Khan, acting DCO, Afsar Khan, executive district officer for works and services department, Shair Ali Khan, and other officials concerned.

Mr Rehman asked the officials concerned to collect the lists of the schemes to be submitted by the Nazimeen of the 65 union councils of the district to accommodate them in the Khushal Pakistan Programme and other developmental programmes.

He directed the authorities concerned to make early arrangements for provision of furniture in all the union councils and to release funds for clearing the rental charges of the union councils buildings.
