LAHORE: First retired Brigadier Manzoor Hussain Atif Memorial hockey tournament will start at the Sargodha Hockey Stadium on Sunday.
Ten teams are featuring in the event, which will conclude on March 19.
Olympian Mohammad Shafqat, who is the tournament director, said participating teams have been divided into two groups, and two matches will be played on the first day, with Police taking on PAF and National Bank of Pakistan locking horns with Wapda-A.
Pool ‘A’ comprises PIA, Army, Railways and Wapda-B, while Pool ‘B’ consists of Police, Navy, NBP, Wapda-A and PAF.—Sports Reporter
