SWABI: Three militants, including a key commander, were arrested in Swabi district Wednesday who were attempting to target security forces’ personnel.

Official sources said three armed militants were preparing Wednesday morning to launch an ambush on a police official from District Swabi near Swabi Interchange.

On receiving a tip-off, police launched a raid on them, resulting in an exchange of fire between the two sides.

Eventually, police arrested the suspects and shifted them to an undisclosed location.
