Nabeel Gabol demands imposition of emergency in country

ISLAMABAD: MNA Nabeel Gabol, belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), brought forward the demand for the imposition of emergency in the country and termed those who talked of negotiating with the Taliban as 'fools' during a meeting of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Interior on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

"On one hand talks are being held whereas on the other hand bodies were being sent," he further said.

Meanwhile, an intense argument took place between Nabeel Gabol, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN)'s Tehmina Doltana and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)'s Yousuf Talpur in National assembly.

Doltana said that Gabol's leader was living outside the country to which he replied that her leader had also left the country.

The Chairman of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Interior, Rana Shamim Ahmad Khan, said that at the moment there was no need of the imposition of an emergency or a Marshall law in the country.

The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) also opposed Nabeel Gabol's demand for an emergency in the country.

Pakistani Military has failed to bring Security in the country. No Pakistani is safe any more. Political parties are not on one page. Each party has their own interest that is the reason they can not be united to fight TTP. I am happy I am not living in Pakistan but sad to see Pakistanis have been killed like animals.

There is no way to deal with the law and order and corruption except emergency and martial law in the country. If the elected government does not take this action some body else will have to do this.

At least he has courage to speak truth,yes we are at war and the president if he has any guts should call for emergency. I call upon all the Pakistanis to push forward this demand in every possible way.

@ANWAR SYED: Pakistan is now ruled by civilian government and military in supposed to take directives only from the civilian democratic government. So dont blame the military.

Why cannot we rent out our fighters abroad and earn some foreign exchange. We have the best fighters in the world and a lot of countries may need our services. The only way to end this civil war in Pakistan. Every one makes money and every one is happy.

I say do it, start with banning the double sawari, so many hits have been done by these people riding on bikes, make it a start and take it from there. You need the shoot to kill policy for all Taliban, that's the only way to talk to them, that's the only language they understand. They will kill you the first chance they get, better them than you !!!
