Pakistan's Twenty20 captain Mohammad Hafeez believes his team can finally break the jinx of losing to India at ICC events and says his side has what it takes to "go all the way" at this year's ICC World T20 in Bangladesh.

Hafeez, who captained the Lahore Lions to another domestic T20 Cup title on Sunday, said that despite being in the toughest group of the World T20, which puts his team face to face with India, Australia and West Indies, Pakistan were not under any pressure.

"We have beaten all these teams in the past and I think we have a top-class T20 squad that is capable of defeating anyone. So definitely I am not under any pressure because of the strong group or India and I think we can go all the way this time," Hafeez told a local paper.

The all-rounder added that his side were extra motivated to put an end to the trend of losing to India at ICC events when they take on MS Dhoni's men in their campaign opener.

"I know that we have not performed well against India in ICC events but I believe for good or bad the past should be past. This is a new event and obviously we will go into the match against India with lots of passion and will to win."

Pakistan will play India in their opening match on March 21 before taking on Australia on March 23, a team from the qualifying group on the March 27 and end the group stages with a clash against defending champs West Indies on April 1.
