PESHAWAR, June 27: Justice Tariq Pervez Khan of the Peshawar High Court on Friday granted bail to an accused charged with drug trafficking on two surety bonds of Rs50,000 each.

Shahab Khan of Swabi district was charged by the Swabi police under 9 CNCA and 3/4 PO with 22 bottles of wine.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Swabi had rejected the bail of the accused.

In another case, Justice Ijaz Afzal of the Peshawar High Court granted bail to an accused charged with drug trafficking on two surety bonds of Rs500,000 each.

Jahangir Shah was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force with three kilograms of charas.

The same court bailed out another accused, Mushtaq charged with drug trafficking on two surety bonds of Rs200,000 each.—APP
