KARACHI: A film on the city situation named Gang War will be shot at 10 different places, including Karachi, says film director Shahzad Ahmed.

While addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Monday, he made it clear that the film would not be based on any particular organisation, linguistic group or an area rather it would describe the overall situation and promote national unity.

According to him, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is the playback singer of the film being produced by Riaz Gujjar. It is written by Saleem Murrad and the music is directed by Ali Afzal. The film will be shot at an estimated cost of Rs30,000,000, said Mr Ahmed.

He said that shooting would start within 10 days and the film would be released within the next six months. He added that artists from television would be introduced in the film.—PPI
