GHALANAI: Different tribes of lower Mohmand Agency on Friday announced full support to government in its efforts to wipe out the menace of militancy and terrorism and vowed to fight shoulder to shoulder with the security forces till elimination of the last militant.

This was stated by the elders of Mamzai, Babazai and Inzari Miangan tribes of Pandilai tehsil during a jirga held at Ekkaghund tehsil and presided over by assistant political agent Naeem Khan.

The jirga unanimously declared that anti-state elements and terrorists would not be allowed to shed the blood of innocent tribesmen for completion of their vested agenda.

The elders said people of Dawezai tribes had rendered great sacrifices for the country and would continue to do so in future.“We are ready to extend all out support to the government to ensure public security and safety and would cooperate with our security forces till elimination of last militant from the area,” the elders vowed.

Tribal elders also decided that if any one found to shelter or involved in any antistate elements he would be fined Rs2 million.

The tribal elders underlined the need for the peace committees to intensify search of militants in the area.They vowed to deal with iron hands the enemy of peace.
