KARACHI, June 25: Shehryar Arshad and Muhammad Riaz made confident start in defence of their National Enterprise by winning both the races on Wednesday at Pakistan Navy Aquatics Club.

Helsman Shehryar started the race smartly with his crew Riaz by winning the opening race in strong south westerly wind.

After taking an early lead they never looked back.

Shehryar’s former Optimist rival Arsalan Khan and Adeel Khan offered tsome challenge but failed to catch them.

They were heading for second position but after penalty fell to fourth. Muhammad Anwar with Rasheed finished second and Nasim/Hameed secured third spot.

In the second race once again defending champion Shehryar/ Riaz made solid start and found themselves leading whereas Arsalan Khan and Adeel were second and Nasim and Hameed were third.
