MANSEHRA, June 25: The JUI(F) central command has asked the party’s provincial Deputy General Secretary, Mufti Kifayatullah to withdraw his nomination papers filed to contest for the slot of district Nazim Mansehra, a party spokesman told newsmen here on Wednesday.

A six-member delegation of JUI(F) Mansehra, headed by Senator Syed Hidayatullah Shah was told by Maulana Fazlur Rehman that contesting for any slot in the district government was against the party’s policy on the Legal Framework Order, the spokesman added.

He said that Mufti Kifayatullah had agreed to withdraw his nomination papers.
