HYDERABAD, Dec 14: Eight persons, including a boy and a woman, were killed, and eight others were injured, in three separate road accidents on Friday.

Seven persons died on the spot in a crash involving a Suzuki van (U-1086) and a bus (PO-732) near the Jamshoro power house.

The Mansehra-bound bus was coming from Karachi and the van was on its way to Jamshoro bus terminal when the accident happened.

In another incident, one Akhtar Ahmed, a resident of Quetta, was run over by a speeding trailer and killed, while trying to cross Super Highway, near Hyderabad Toll Plaza, late on Thursday night.

In the third incident, six persons were injured when a Karachi-bound coach (PA-0161) coming from Shahdadpur overturned on the Super Highway near Palari Hotel, Nooriabad.
