TAXILA: The local chapter of Pakistan Academy of Family Physicians on Sunday demanded the early arrest of a 12-year-old special girl’s murderers stating that otherwise they would stage a protest in front of the Parliament house.

The special child, the daughter of a local physician, had been shot dead in a target-killing incident in Lalazar in the limits of Wah Cantonment police station a week ago.

The killers however have not been identified or apprehended so far.

Therefore, a special meeting of the academy was held which was presided over by Chief Patron Dr Shahid Nawaz and attended by President Dr Sajid Pervaiz and General Secretary Dr Syed Asad Ali.

They condemned the murder of a special child and the inefficiency of the police in tracing the culprits involved in the murder.

Speakers urged the concerned officials of the police to resolve the murder case failing which they said the doctors’ community would stage a protest rally in front of the Parliament house.
