DADU, Dec 14: A girl was kidnapped by five armed men in village Shaman Bhurt near Rajodero town some 76 kilo-metres away from here on Friday.

According to reports, five armed men barged into the house of Mohammad Hayat Brohi, held the family members hostages, kidnapped his daughter Talah Khatoon, 18, and escaped in a car.

Hayat was severely beaten up by the armed men when he offered resistance.

Rajodero police on the complaint of Hayat have registered an FIR in which Rasool Bukhsh Brohi, sute.

DRUGS SEIZED: Two special parties of Dadu town police station led by additional SHO, sub-inspector Ghulam Muneer Mangi, raided at a den of narcotics near the high school for boys on Daroo Road here on Friday.
