LAHORE, June 21: The Allama Iqbal Town administration has utilized 75 per cent of its development budget for the current financial year on 570 ongoing and completed schemes.

The town administration has renovated the Kot Kamboh Slaughterhouse at a cost of Rs7 million and is remodelling its office complex at a cost of Rs5 million. A hall is being added to the office complex for holding the meetings of the town council.

Construction of most of the 570 roads, streets and drains started last year has been completed. Work on the remaining roads, streets and drains is expected to be completed during the next two months.
