PESHAWAR, June 20: Jamiat Talaba Arabia Pakistan (JTAP) is to hold a three-day conference at Faisal Mosque, Islamabad, on Aug 20.

The stated purpose of this moot is “to apprise students of religious schools about the conspiracies being hatched against the Ummah by the infidel forces, spearheaded by the US.”

Qari Fazli Akbar, acting chief of the JTA, told a press conference here on Friday that the holding of conference was aimed at raising awareness among students community about the “US plans against Islam” so they could counter the “anti-Islam propaganda unleashed by the Jewish lobby.” The students of all religious institutions, belonging to every school of thought, had been invited to attend the conference, said Mr Akbar, who was confident that 100,000 students will take part in the event.
