MIRPURKHAS, June 18: The general secretary, Shehri Ittehad, Khai town, Zahid Aslam, has expressed concern over the working of the telephone system in Khai where more than 50 telephone lines were lying out of order for the last one month and was causing great difficulties for the telephone subscribers.

Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, he said that as a result of this the people of Khai town had been cut off from the other areas.

He said that telephone department officials had taken away faulty machines of the telephone exchange of Khai town for having them repaired about a month back but these had yet to be returned.

He demanded that the chairman, PTCL, take strict notice of the negligence of the officials.
