GILGIT, June 17: Water supply to Gilgit town remained suspended for the third day on Tuesday due to repairing of main water supply channel in Kargah, officials of the Gilgit Water Supply said on Tuesday.

At least 50,000 people were suffering due to the water crisis, residents said. They said they had been fetching water from the Gilgit River to meet their water needs.—Correspondent
