PESHAWAR, June 17: The constitution and manifesto of the World Pushto Congress were passed in a meeting here on Sunday.
Dr Fazal Din Khatak presided over the meeting, whereas renowned Pushto writer and poet Professor Jehanzeb Niaz was the chief guest on the occasion, a press release said.
Addressing the gathering, Professor Jehanzeb Niaz appreciated the steps taken for the promotion of Pushto language and literature.
He said that every Pakhtun should feel proud of the efforts made for the promotion Pushto language.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Fazal Din Khattak termed framing of the constitution as a landmark achievement in the history of Pushto literature.
