KARACHI, June 17: Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal Sindh President MNA Asadullah Bhutto has expressed his optimism that on June 23 the people of Landhi would reject the politics of terrorism and extortionism by exercising their right of vote in favour of the MMA candidate.

Speaking at an election meeting at Landhi Chiragh Hotel after inaugurating an election office of MMA candidate in the NA-255 constituency, Mr Bhutto said the verdict of the people in Landhi would change the fate of Karachi and it would be established for all times to come that the people of Landhi and Korangi were opposed to terrorism.

Jamat-i-Islami leader Dr Mairaj-ul-Huda Siddiqui said that Karachiites have now realised that as to who wanted to keep them in a closed alley.

Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal candidate Mohammad Aslam Mujahid accused the Muttahida Qaumi Movement of using the entire government machinery for election campaign of its candidate and urged the chief election commissioner to take notice of it.
