President due in UK today

ISLAMABAD, June 16: President Gen Pervez Musharraf was due to leave on a four-nation visit in the early hours of Tuesday to further consolidate and expand ties with these countries.

President Musharraf during his meetings with the leaders of the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and France will hold talks to further deepen and broaden bilateral relations, particularly in the economic sphere.

The president will seek further expansion in trade ties and greater market access for Pakistani products. He will also meet investors in these countries.—APP
