LARKANA, June 15: The leaders of the Sindh National Front (SNF) on Sunday held a protest demonstration against the construction of the Thal canal and other anti-Sindh projects.

The protesters were led by Allah Warayo Soomro, Amir Bakhsh Bhutto and Gul Mohammed Jakhrani. The protest march started from the house of Mumtaz Ali Bhutto and ended in front of the Jinnahbagh, where the SNF leaders gave speeches.

They said that construction of the Thal canal would render thousands of acres of land in Sindh barren, while thousands of acres of land would be irrigated in Punjab.
