Published December 14, 2001

LAHORE, Dec 13: Trials to select LCCA Blues and Whites for the forthcoming Quaid-e-Azam cricket trophy grade-I will be held at the LCCA ground on Dec 20 at 1pm.

Each club affiliated with the LCCA is allowed to send maximum four players for the trials.

The Quaid-i-Azam trophy will begin across the country from Jan 2, 2002.

The LCCA has also invited the current and former Test cricketers to represent LCCA in the trophy but so far a poor response has been received from them. Only Abdur Razzaq and Salim Elahi showed their availability to the LCCA, an official of the association told Dawn.

The LCCA Blues are the defending champions of the Quaid-i- Azam Trophy Grade-I.
