Huge turnout for PCB U-15 trials

LAHORE, June 13: Around 2000 probables appeared in the Pepsi-Imran-PCB Cricket Lahore Region (U-15) trials on second day at the Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.

Saturday is the final day of the trials. On conclusion, the probables will be shortlisted to around 150. However, the final list of 24 players will be announced on Sunday.

The selected boys will represent Lahore in the Inter-region tournament starting at Lahore and Karachi, simultaneously from July 3.

The final will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium, on July 8.

In all, eight regions will take part in this tournament.

The regional teams which will play in Lahore are the host, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Faisalabad.

The other matches will be played in Karachi with teams from besides Karachi, Quetta, Hyderabad and Multan.

The final will be played at Lahore on July 8.

Trials at the Mianwali district are also being held but the team of this region will not take part in the tournament.
