KARACHI, June 13: Seven ships carrying containers, chemicals and to load molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was relatively slow where only two ships, CMC Pearl to unload and unload containers, Keefan to offload high speed diesel were berthed after the departure of six.

The ships, which departed included Mar Challenger, Hyundai Advance, Al-Manakha, Guang Huaman, Gestone and Tarpon Santiago, while Sima Bahar, B.B.C. Norway, Keefan, MOL Sincerity and some others are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves active where a total tonnage of 60,249 tons comprising 19,106 tons of export cargo and 41,143 tons of the imported goods was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Wan Hai-301, Orient Stride, Izumo, Med Keelung, with containers, Essberger Pilot and Nur Yanbu, with chemicals and Byzantio to load 46,000 tons of molasses.
