MIRPURKHAS: Bandits kill two

MIRPURKHAS, June 12: A man and his servant were gunned downed by four armed bandits in Nafees Nagar town late Wednesday night.

The four bandits barged into the house of Khanwar Das Lohana and held all the residents hostage at gunpoint. The bandits then looted cash and jewellry worth thousands of rupees.

When some of the residents offered resistance, the bandits opened indiscriminate fire resulting in the death of Khanwar and his servant, Nanggi.The bandits escaped immediately.

Hundreds of residents of Nafees Nagar Town gathered there to protest against the incident.

The Jhuddo police have registered a case against the unknown bandits on the complaint of Khanwar’s brother.
