Fine spell by Jawwad

KARACHI, June 11: A fine all-round performance by Jawwad Khan helped Zone-IV Whites defeat Zone-III Blues by nine wickets in the KCCA Inter-zonal under-15 cricket tournament match at TMC ground here on Tuesday.

Jawwad captured four for 17 with his medium-pacers as Zone-III Blues were shot out for 65 in 37.4 overs. Off-spinner Talha Khan was also in deadly form as he picked up five for 16.

In reply, Zone-IV Whites reached their target comfortably by scoring 66 for one in 10.2 overs. Jawwad struck three boundaries in an unbeaten 31. Imran Haider also batted well to score 29 not out.
