Cash, valuables looted

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Dec 13: A number of robbery cases on Dera-Bannu road, in Yarik Police Station area, were reported last night.

According to details, Abdul Majeed Ghaznikhel along with his friends Zeeshan and Abdullah was travelling to Dera Ismail Khan. Near Giloti, two unidentified persons stopped their vehicle on gun point and snatched Rs297,000 and two wristwatches from them.

In another incident a PTCL supervisor Samiullah and his freind Abdul Hamid, were coming from Peshawar in a car, when they were fired upon and deprived of Rs17,200 and wristwatches. Both were coming to celebrate Eid with their families.

A cloth vendor Saadullan of village Giloti was also deprived of Rs 4,340— his total income of the day by the same criminals.

But only one FIR was registered against the robbers.
