MIRPURKHAS, June 11: The doctors and surgeons from the Unites States, under the directives of their embassy, have been prevented from travelling in the interior of Sindh on account of the law and order situation, it was reliably learnt on Wednesday.

The patients will be provided medical care and medicines free of cost.

The district Nazim, Pir Shafqat Hussain Shah Jilani, has nominated Dr Ghazi Khan Mari as his representative for the camp. He has been asked to provide available resources in the camp.

Dr Mari told this correspondent that arrangements had been made at the civil hospital for the camp.

A team of surgeons has been constituted under the leadership of Surgeon Mohammad Haneef Awan, whereas two operation theatres have also been set up.
