PESHAWAR, June 9: Doctors have urged the people in Mohmand Agency to maintain cleanliness to prevent the spread of diseases.

Dr Mohammad Riaz, and assistant director, nutrition, Dr Mohammad Ajmal Khan, talking to tribesmen at Sheikh Baba, Yakaghund and Anbar villages, urged the people to take care of their children and stop them from walking barefoot. Unhealthy food and dirt and filth helped spread diseases like cancer and hepatitis, they said.

They urged the people to adopt maximum hygiene. They emphasized the need for washing hands before and after meals and keeping food items covered.
