Speaking the other day at an open kutchery at the Hujra of Zairullah Khan, Nazim of Urmer Miana, he said he would fulfil his commitments he had made with the people during the election.

“This is our earnest desire to come up to the expectations of the masses”, he added.

Open kutcheries were also held at Maira Kachori and Maira Surezai, where the Nazim heard the problems of the people, disposed of their applications and issued orders on the spot.

Applications against Wapda and Warsak Lift Canal were handed over to the authorities concerned.

Mr Afridi approved metalling of the Phandu-Urmer Road. The schemes approved for the area under the Khushhal Pakistan Programme included one road each in Maira Kachori and Maira Surezai, two tubewells at Garhi Faizullah, metalling of Garhi Faizullah and three-kilometre-long Shamshatoo Camp roads.

Referring to the public complaints about lack of furniture and shortage of staff in certain schools of the area, he directed the authorities concerned to immediately resolve the problems in the schools.
