DUBAI, Nov 12: Former Pakistan captain and pace bowler Waqar Younis has been invited as guest speaker along with legendary West Indian batsman Brian Lara and Sri Lanka off-spin great Muttiah Muralitharan on a live chat show on TV on the occasion of Sachin Tendulkar’s farewell Test, commencing in Mumbai on Thursday.

Waqar has been one of the commentators on Ten Sports for the ongoing Pakistan-South Africa series in the UAE.

Waqar flew out to India on Tuesday for the live chat show on TV but wil return to give expert comments for Pakistan-South Africa Twenty20 games.

Incidentally, Waqar also made debut for Pakistan in the same Test with Tendulkar, played on Nov 15, 1989 in Karachi.

Waqar, who turns 42 later this week, however didn’t want to divulge his comments on Sachin’s 200th Test till the same were aired at the chat show and said the people should watch it for themselves to know his views about the ‘Little Master’.

Sachin may have well remembered that on his first international tour with the Indian team as a 16-yearold to Pakistan, he was hit by a vicious bouncer from Waqar but came back strongly to score a fine half-century.
