Talks with Taliban; Mein nay socha, tere kiya banayga Jimmy? But since I was already in a hotspot because of my 'name', I thought I’d go further.

Dialogue is called that for a reason, it is not a monologue. You need both parties to listen to each other to be able talk to each other. How can one talk to someone who does not listen? And has a non-tolerant view of other opinions and cultures?

Going further how does one talk to anyone who does not understand human ethics? Has killed innocent people, openly claiming responsibility? Makes money from smuggling and drug trade? Cannot reason? Is not patient enough to reach a conclusion through an argument? Prefers force over debate?

I do not understand how any meaningful consensus can be reached here without any compromise on standard accepted human rights.

I know, I am doomed.
