KHAIRPUR, June 6: Three persons were freed from illegal detention after two separate raids conducted on the orders of a Sessions Judge Khairpur, on Thursday and Friday.

The judge, Mr Nisar Mohammad Shaikh, appointed a court official to carry out a raid on the B-section police station. The official went there and found Deedar Ali, son of Raheem Bux Deendar, a resident of village Deendar, taluka Kingri district Khairpur.

The SHO B-section Khairpur was directed to appear before the court on Saturday.

In another raid, conducted on Thursday on the Pir-Jo-Goth police station, a court official found two men, Siraj Shahani and Siddiqu Jagirani, in illegal detention.
