HYDERABAD, June 5: Thirteen Tapedars of the Sakrand taluka have alleged that the Mukhtiarkar of the taluka is threatening them with submitting report against them if they do not pay him bribe.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Wednesday, Allah Dino, Mushtaq Ali Kumbhar, Mir Mohammad Brohi, Asghar Ali Rind, Roshan Ali, Qurban Ali, Akhtar Ali Kumbhar and other Tapedars appealed to the higher authorities to take notice of the highhandedness of the Mukhtiarkar, Amir Bux Channa. They also accused the Mukhtiarkar of using abusive language and insulting Tapedars.

The said they would observe pen-down and hunger strikes if justice was not restored to them.—Bureau
