SWABI, June 3: The district government has allocated Rs20 million for the construction of district police lines at Shah Mansoor Town and its construction is expected to be started very soon.

A police spokesman said here on Tuesday that it has been planned  that  all the district offices of  the  district headquarters will be shifted to Shah Mansoor Town and even the district judicial lock-up will also be constructed there. So he said it was also decided to construct a police line there.

He said a meeting in this connection was held three-days back which was attended by the district Nazim Sher Zaman Sher. District coordination officer, Dr Jamal Nasir, project director and official of works and services. They discussed in detail the construction of the police line, he added.

He said it was decided that the construction of the project will be started within a few months and the district government expressed readiness to extend all the required cooperation and support.

He said the development work on the Shah Mansoor Town has already been started, construction of 200 bed hospital complex is also in full swing and the police line is also one of the requirements of the area.
