QUETTA, June 3: The younger brother of Balochistan Governor, Mohammad Khan, died in Karachi on Tuesday after a prolonged illness. He was 55.

He was suffering from liver cancer and was under treatment in Aga Khan Hospital for the last few weeks.

His body has been sent by road to his native village Qadirabad Chanal in Kharan district where he would be buried on Wednesday.

Balochistan Governor Abdul Qadir has already reached Qadirabad Chanal to attend his brother’s funeral.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousaf, provincial ministers Mir Amanullah Notizai, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed Shoradi and Mir Mohammad Asim Kurd and Balochistan Ombudsman Malik Sikandar Khan have expressed their condolences with the governor over the sad demise of his brother.
