LARKANA, Dec 12: The deputations of teaching and non-teaching staff in schools of Larkana district were cancelled here on Wednesday.

The EDO education Qazi Zamir Hussain after receiving instructions from District Larkana Nazim Khursheed Junejo issued a letter directing the officers of Education department to immediately cancel the deputations. This order would not apply on branch schools.

Subsequently the district officers education (secondary, high secondary and elementary) have asked the heads of the institutions to relieve such officials immediately with the instructions to join duty at their original place of postings in three days.

Meanwhile Abdul Rasheed Chandio, president of Government Secondary Teachers Association, taluka Larkana criticizing the step demanded its immediate withdrawal.
