MANSEHRA, Dec 12: Shahzada Gustasap Khan, Naib Nazim of the Mansehra district, has urged the doctors, hospitals in-charge and other health officers of the district to work with honesty and dedication in extending the health facilities to the people.

Speaking at a meeting which was attended by Dr Jumma Khan, EDO (Health) and Dr Shafiqur Rehman, medical superintendent of the DHQ hospital, Mansehra, and other health officers, he said the government intended to provide health facilities to the people at their doorsteps and hoped that the health officers would work hard to help meet this target.

He directed the doctors to ensure the availability of free medicines for poor patients.

He said that anyone found guilty of misconduct would be taken to task.

Maximum relief could not be provided to patients without maintaining proper discipline and bringing about a positive change in financial affairs, he added.
