HUNZA, Dec 12: The speakers at a seminar on Monday expressed concern over lack of civic amenities and stressed the need for a mechanism to monitor traffic, business and other activities in Hunza.

In the seminar, organized by the Civic Management Society, Hunza Environmental Committee, Aliabad Bazaar Committee and the administration, the participants decided to prepare a system to eradicate trade and traffic irregularities.

Talking to Dawn, the Karakoram Area Development Organization General Manager Ghulam Amin Baig stressed the need for establishment of butcher and slaughter houses to check pollution.
