The management of various churches has expressed dissatisfaction over security measures adopted by the police following Peshawar church attacks, terming them mere cosmetic measures.

Certain churches in the capital and the garrison city were provided some security while others are still waiting for deployment of police.

The two main churches in the garrison city – St. Paul Church on The Mall and Sacred Heart at Westridge – have been provided with only two policemen for their security, while churches at Gawalmandi, Raja Bazaar, Dhoke Ratta, Raja Sultan and others have not been provided any security at all. —Detailed Story on Page 17
