HYDERABAD, May 30: The Dadu police have picked up two prime suspects in connection with the kidnapping of two employees of a multi-national company, Mubashir Hussain Zaidi and Habibur Rehman, reliable sources told this correspondent on Friday.

The suspects included Bachayo Nohani, the son of a chowkidar of the Sindh University, Jamshoro, and Yaro Palari, who has, in fact, surrendered himself to the Dadu police after his relatives were picked up by the police, sources said.

Both the suspects have been handed over to the Anti-Terrorism Wing (ATW), Karachi, which is investigating the case as the employees were believed to have been kidnapped in the limits of the Gadap police station.

Sources claimed that both Bachayo Nohani and Yaro Palari were the members of Ghulam Qadir Nohani’s gang, which had kidnapped the employees on April 11.

On May 14, a heavy contingent of police had raided an area near Sehwan for recovery of the two employees but the dacoits had already fled by then.

MORE SUSPECTS: The investigation wing police of Hyderabad have picked up more suspects in connection with the kidnapping of Rehan Sheikh and Vinod Kumar, residents of Hyderabad, who had been kidnapped in the first week of April while they were on their way to Sanghar.

Police picked up one Shoaib Chandio from Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi. His brother, Dr Mumtaz Chandio, also surrendered himself to the Hyderabad investigation police.

A source claimed that the gang which was believed to have kidnapped the two youths has contacted police to release their close relatives.

It has also contacted the families of the hostages in connection with their ransom, the source added.
