SHIKARPUR, May 29: The Shikarpur Taluka Council, in a resolution adopted the other day, demanded that the district government should ensure judicious distribution of development funds among union councils.
In another resolution, the council regretted that scholarships awarded to primary students were not properly distributed in the taluka and demanded that scholarship money should be given to students in presence of Nazims of union councils concerned.
The meeting also constituted a five-member committee to check irregularities in taluka and municipal administrations.
The meeting was presided over by convener Syed Ejaz Ali Shah.

This was decided at a meeting of the council held here the other day with Syed Aijaz Ali Shah in the chair.
The members through a resolution demanded of the district government to allocate equal development funds to all union councils.
The meeting took notice of unfair distribution of scholarships awards to students.
