UMERKOT, Aug 21: An Indian youth who had crossed the border near Khokhrapar and was arrested by Pakistan Rangers at Cheta chowk was sent to Juvenile Prison in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

According to Khokhrapar police SHO Khurshid Bhatti the boy, 15, wore a trouser and shirt and spoke both Urdu and English.

The boy told police that his name was Jitendar Arjunwar, son of Aishurya Arjunwar, and he was a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

He further told police that about two months ago he had a quarrel with his mother and he left his home in anger, adding that he kept wandering here and there in India and after 30 days he reached a place where he found barbed wires and thought that someone had lands there and barbed wires had been placed to stop livestock.

He said that he dug out barbed wires and continued his journey. During the journey he became thirsty and found some light and moved there.

The boy said that he found that some people wearing military uniforms were holding a torch and he requested them to give him water. They gave him water and inquired as to who was he.

Upon this, he said, he was Jitendar Ajunwar and he belonged to Madhya Pradesh and had left home after some quarrel with his mother.
