SRK's Chennai Express became the fastest film to hit the 100 crore club and now it looks like 200 cr target is not a far reach.

The SRK and Deepika Padukone starrer has made 156. 70 cr at the box office. The Indian Independence Day collection has reached an amount of 19.60 cr in India which has surely benefited the film at the box office.

Chennai Express has also been the highest week 1 (7 day week) collection surpassing Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger's 140 cr from 9 days.

It seems that SRK's Chennai Express is running to break all the records at the box office! — TOI
