RAWALPINDI, May 25: A cyclist died and two policemen injured in separate road accidents, while three vehicles were stolen from different parts of the twin cities on Sunday.

Police said a few motorcyclists were racing in a group near Dhok Kala Khan when one of them (RIX-5900) hit a cyclist, identified as Khawas Mohammad, and escaped. The injured was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Two constables of Golra police station were injured when a Suzuki car (IDS-991) hit them. The injured were identified as Mushtaq and Javed who were on duty at sector F-11.

CARJACKING: : Two cars were stolen in the jurisdiction of Margalla police on Sunday. A Toyota Corolla car was stolen in sector G-9/4. Bandits also took away a Suzuki FX car from F-8 Markaz and a taxi from Tipu Road.
