LAHORE, Aug 2: Pakistan Agriculture Storage and Services Corporation (Passco) earned a net profit of Rs421.31 million in the current season, a corporation’s spokesman said on Friday.
This season's performance was the corporation’s best in the last five years, he said.
He said Passco, in its recently held general body meeting, had also decided to supply certified wheat seed to the growers, which would not only help overcome the shortage of certified seed for the growers but also increase per acre yield of the crop.The spokesman said the corporation was also going to construct a new storage facility in Khanewal and Hafizabad on its own.—APP
