LOS ANGELES, Dec 11: Corey Maggette and Lamar Odom combined for 40 points to offset a 47-point night by Tracy McGrady as the Los Angeles Clippers climbed above .500 for the first time in five years with a 100-92 win over the Orlando Magic Monday.

Odom made 7-of-11 shots for 19 points and dished out 10 assists before fouling out with 5:04 left and Maggette drained 7-of-12 shots for 21 points as the Clippers improved to 11-10.

The record marked the first time the Clippers have more wins than losses since they were 6-5 on November 21, 1996.

A pair of Magette free throws put Los Angeles ahead 77-76 as the Clippers scored the first nine points of the fourth to begin a decisive 20-4 run.

The Clippers built their lead to 15 points on a Quentin Richardson three-pointer with 5:43 to go before the Magic went on a 12-1 tear to make it close. But Orlando could not whittle the deficit below four points the rest of the way.

Richardson finished with 16 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, and Jeff McInnis also had 16 for Los Angeles.

McGrady had 47 points, 11 rebounds and four assists for Orlando. He scored 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting in the first half, which ended with the clubs deadlocked at 51-51.

Darrell Armstrong contributed 15 points and Horace Grant added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Magic.
