SIALKOT, May 23: The Pakistan forces thwarted on Friday an Indian attempt of fencing Jammu-Akhnoor-Saamba sector early in the morning besides causing heavy loss to the enemy.

According to the official sources, the Indian Border Security Force continued firing with light and heavy machine guns on Pakistani villages in Chhumb, Joriyaan, Chaprar, Jammu, Saamba, Akhnoor, Zafarwal, Darman and Shakargarh-Narowal sectors, damaging several empty cattle sheds.

No causality or injury has yet been reported.

Meanwhile, the sowing of paddy could not be started in the border villages due to Indian firing.
