PESHAWAR, May 23: NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah on Friday ordered fresh investigations into the famous kidnapping case of two brothers and urged the political authorities to renew their efforts to recover them.
Usman and Irshad Khan, sons of Malik Shamshad Khan, had been kidnapped from the jurisdiction of the Badhaber police station in Peshawar on Feb 25, 2001.
Talking to a six-members delegation, who called on him under the leadership of Senator Prof Mohammad Ibrahim, the governor said that the agencies concerned should curb the occurrence of such incidents
